Stainless Steel Buttcaps serve several purposes for the way we fish in Hawaii.

• Protects the butt of the rod blank when placed in sand or rock spikes.
• Provides counter-balance weight.
• Can be used to extend the rod to desired length.

We are currently not listing recommendations for which buttcap can be used with what rods.  Please take the time to properly measure your rod butt to ensure that it will fit prior to ordering your buttcap. If you are unsure, please consult a rod builder prior to ordering.
